AZ3 feels less like a normal loot run and more like walking into a problem that gets worse every minute. Before loading in, it helps to know which Delta Force Items are actually worth carrying, because the power plant punishes players who arrive without a plan. You can still chase gunfights, sure, but the reactor is always ticking away in the background. Ignore it for too long and the map starts making decisions for you.
Radiation Changes the Usual Loot Routine1. Treat every shower route as part of your extraction plan.
Why AZ3 Keeps Players MovingIt's not just about grabbing the first crate you see. AZ3 makes you think ahead, then rethink everything when another squad blocks the corridor.
Deep Reactor Runs Have a PriceThe underground reactor section is where the season really shows off. It's cramped, noisy, and full of corners that feel bad to clear alone. Radiation builds while you search, so there's no real option to sit in one room and sort through loot forever. You need to move. Check a container, grab the useful stuff, then get out before your exposure becomes the bigger threat than nearby operators. The best finds tend to sit deeper in the plant, including electronic parts, weapon-related gear, and military supplies that can improve a future loadout. That's the bait. The catch is that other teams know it too. A squad holding a narrow stairwell can turn a profitable run into a complete mess in seconds. N2 fits this environment well. Freezing or slowing an enemy near a doorway gives your team a brief opening, and on AZ3, a brief opening is often enough. You don't need a flashy push. Sometimes one slowed player means the whole enemy team has to back off.

Don't Wait for the MeltdownThe table sums up the basic trade-off, but matches rarely stay that neat. Fires spread, routes close, and the safest-looking exit can suddenly become a trap.
Handling H1000 Without Throwing the Raid2. Save ammunition before challenging H1000 near the endgame.
A Better Way to Leave AZ3 AliveH1000 is another reason not to waste resources early. The boss can pay out well, but it's not free loot and it definitely isn't a quick solo errand. Teams that beat it usually keep their spacing, watch their ammo count, and avoid getting dragged into a third-party fight halfway through. That same patience matters when the reactor reaches critical levels. A lot of players get greedy after finding one rare item, then stay for "just one more room". That's how runs disappear. Check your radiation, look at remaining extraction options, and decide whether the gear in your bag is already enough. If you're building toward harder raids, it can also make sense to cheap Delta Force Tekniq Alloy before heading back in. AZ3 rewards preparation, but it rewards knowing when to leave even more.
